The Alternative Meats (Alt: Meat) X-Lab at UC Berkeley helps entrepreneurs and researchers investigate the next generation of foods such as plant-based meats, dairy substitutes, and alternative sources of fat and protein. Nestlé will support the spring 2023 semester, focused on entrepreneurship. Maxime Saffon, as an Industry fellow, will engage with teams of students throughout the semester and share professional expertise, as well as sponsor a technical project on meat analogues.
